A Panola County jury found Robert Bruce Swapsy guilty of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. The trial court sentenced Swapsy to eight years' imprisonment and ordered him to pay a $10,000.00 fine, but suspended the sentence in favor of placing Swapsy on community supervision for five years....
