Arnold J. WEBRE, Jr. and Jo Kathryn Gross, Appellants v. Ray BLACK, Jr., Guardian of the Estate of Arnold J. Webre, Sr., An Incapacitated Person, Appellee.

Court of Appeals of Texas, Houston (1st Dist.).

Opinion issued January 13, 2015.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Kenneth R. Wynne , Avid E. Wynne , Wynne & Wynne LLP, Houston, TX, for Appellants.

Alan N. Magenheim , Megenheim & Associates, Houston, TX, for Appellee.

Panel consists of Chief Justice Radack and Justices Massengale and Huddle.

OPINION

The underlying case is a guardianship proceeding. In this appeal, we consider whether the trial court abused its discretion in approving a settlement reached by a ward's court-appointed guardian in a suit the guardian brought on his ward's behalf. We reverse and remand.
