JOHNSON, J., delivered the opinion of the Court in which MEYERS, PRICE, WOMACK, HERVEY, COCHRAN, and ALCALÁ, JJ., joined.

On April 5, 2002, appellant pleaded guilty to the offense of burglary of a habitation. The trial court deferred a finding of guilt and placed her on community supervision for a period of five years, which began that day.
