After being admitted to Northeast Baptist Hospital for persistent cellulitis, Mr. Thomas Pickens's health deteriorated to a point of severe respiratory failure, requiring invasive mechanical ventilation. Thomas and Brenda Pickens filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against Dr. Thomas Leytham, and others, based on negligent care.
