For seven years, Ashmita "Stella" Unni Prakash worked as a live-in nanny in the home of Drs. Ashish and Aparna Kamat and was paid less than the federal minimum wage. Prakash sued the Kamats under the Fair Labor Standards Act ("the FLSA").
