Chad Michael Musgrove was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison. TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. § 19.03 (West Supp.2012). Prior to the jury trial on the capital murder charge, another jury was impaneled to determine Musgrove's competency to stand trial. The jury did not find that Musgrove was incompetent.
