Clister Ray Thomas was convicted by a jury for failure to comply with sex-offender registration requirements1 and was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Thomas had previously been convicted of aggravated sexual assault in Gregg County in 1987 and was sentenced to fifteen years' imprisonment for that offense.
