Appellant Silvestre Cortez Romero was convicted of murder and sentenced to twenty years in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The appellant challenges his conviction, asserting that the evidence was insufficient to support the verdict, and challenging the trial court's assessment of a particular amount of court costs.
