MACKEY K. HANCOCK, Justice.

Appellant, Richard Scott Purgason, was convicted of three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child younger than 14 years.1 Appellant was sentenced to confinement for 99 years in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (ID-TDCJ) in each case, with the sentences to run cumulatively.2 Appellant
