MIKE WILLSON, Justice.

The grand jury indicted Charles Edward Barringer, Jr. for the offense of indecency with a child. He maintained that the State denied him his right to a speedy trial and he filed a motion to dismiss the indictment. The trial court denied his motion. After the trial court denied the motion, Appellant pleaded guilty. The trial court deferred a finding of guilt, placed Appellant on community supervision for eight years, and assessed...
