A jury found Jose Luis Bazan guilty of the first-degree felony offense of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. After finding true the allegation in the enhancement paragraph — that Bazan previously had been convicted of felony robbery — the jury assessed his punishment at life imprisonment. See TEX.
