LaFray Mitchell and his wife, Mary Dee Mitchell, erected gateways1 on "Lamar County Road Number 15950" (Road) which was used by Robert L. Ballard and his wife, Loyce J. Ballard, to access their property. The Ballards sued to have the Road declared a public road after "repeated demands that the gate be removed" proved unfruitful. A jury trial resulted...
