Appellant, Thomas McQuarrie, was convicted of sexual assault. See TEX. PENAL CODE § 22.011(a)(1)(A). The trial court denied Appellant's motion for new trial, which alleged that the jury, after having retired to deliberate, received other evidence not then admitted by the court that was detrimental to Appellant's case.
