Opinion by Justice MOSELEY.

Twenty-seven-year-old Sammy Burchinal was employed by Texmecana Management, LLC (Texmecana), as a truck driver. Among his duties was to deliver trailers which had been manufactured by PJ Trailers Manufacturing, Inc. (Manufacturing), and loaded by it onto flatbed haulers owned by Texmecana. On March 21 or 22, 2007, Sammy drove from Texas to California to deliver a load of Manufacturing...
