Appellant Kassim Lawal pleaded guilty to theft of property by a government contractor. After the trial court conducted a pre-sentence investigation, the court sentenced Lawal to ten years in prison. On appeal, Lawal contends that (1) the trial court abused its discretion when it did not allow him to withdraw his guilty plea and (2) the trial court's denial of his motion...
