DAVID GAULTNEY, Justice.

On motion for rehearing, we withdraw our opinion of March 7, 2012, and substitute this opinion. James Armond Thomas entered pleas of guilty to two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. After being sentenced to two concurrent seven-year terms of incarceration, Thomas filed a motion for new trial in which he contended that his guilty plea was involuntary.
