Appellant Manuel Garcia pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 22.011(a)(2) (West 2011). He entered his plea pursuant to a plea agreement, and on April 1, 2008, following a punishment hearing, the trial court adjudged Garcia guilty and sentenced him to four years' imprisonment.
