Applicant, Jessica Tata, is charged with nine offenses: four counts of felony murder, two counts of reckless injury to a child, and three counts of abandoning a child.1 The trial court set bail at $50,000 for each of the abandoning a child charges, $75,000 for each of the reckless injury charges, and $200,000 for each of the felony murder charges, for a cumulative bail amount of $1,100,000.
