On February 17, 2011, relator Artemio Arturo Alanis filed a petition for writ of mandamus, complaining of the trial court's February 7, 2011 order denying Alanis' plea to the jurisdiction and request for the trial court to decline jurisdiction in favor of California because Texas is an inconvenient forum.
