A jury convicted Appellant Karl Anthony Hodson of capital murder. The trial court assessed punishment at confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division for life without parole. On appeal, Hodson contends the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress his statements to law enforcement officers made on July 24, 2007 and July 25, 2007.
