OPINION

ANN CRAWFORD McCLURE, Justice.

This appeal involves competing claims to a life insurance policy between the insured's mother and the mother of his deceased daughter who was born out of wedlock. As counsel for Appellant suggests, "[i]t is a correct assumption that Lopez and Hernandez1 do not like each other. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
