Appellee Sovereign Cherokee Nation Tejas (SCNT) sued appellant Frank P. Hernandez alleging fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and other claims. The trial court struck Hernandez's pleadings as a discovery sanction, and the case was submitted to a jury to determine damages.
