HOLLIS HORTON, Justice.

A jury determined that Laray Malone, Jr. is a sexually violent predator under Texas law. See Tex. Health & Safety Code Ann. §§ 841.001-.150 (West 2010) (SVP statute). The jury found that Malone suffers from a behavioral abnormality that predisposes him to engage in a predatory act of sexual violence.
