OPINION

JIM R. WRIGHT, Chief Justice.

Seven-year-old Tanner Joshua Monk was mauled to death by dogs. The jury convicted the dogs' owners, Jack Wayne Smith and Crystal Michelle Watson, of the offense of attack by dog resulting in death. The jury assessed punishment at confinement for seven years and a $5,000 fine. Smith appeals.1 We affirm.
