Hoppenstein Properties, Inc. sued the McLennan County Appraisal District ("MCAD") for breach of a commercial lease after MCAD abandoned the leased premises. The trial court granted MCAD's partial plea to the jurisdiction on Hoppenstein's claim for future damages.
