Raheem Abdulah Watkins was convicted by a jury of the offense of murder, pled true to two enhancement allegations, and was sentenced to life in prison. TEX. PEN. CODE ANN. §§ 19.02(b)(1) & 12.42(d) (Vernon 2003).
