TOM GRAY, Chief Justice.

Aaron Zane Somers was convicted of intoxication manslaughter. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. 49.08 (Vernon Supp.2010). The jury assessed his punishment at twelve years in prison and a fine of $8,000. We affirm.
