These original proceedings were filed in connection with a single underlying suit to terminate the parental rights of Marla Russell and Johnny Scott Jr. to their three children, L.R., B.S., and S.S. The children, represented by their attorney ad litem, filed a petition for writ of mandamus, cause number 03-10-00606-CV, seeking to vacate the trial court's order setting this matter for a jury trial on October 25, 2010...
