This appeal stems from a health care liability claim against Tenet Hospitals Limited, a Texas Limited Partnership d/b/a Providence Memorial Hospital (Providence). Providence moved to dismiss the lawsuit based on the plaintiffs' failure to timely serve an expert report authored by a qualified expert in compliance with Chapter 74 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. The trial court denied the motion....
