Six-year-old M.L. was made to suffer sexual abuse at the hand of her stepfather, Harold Donnie Halbrook. Indictments returned against Halbrook alleged that on or about July 7 and 18, 2007, he "cause[d] his sexual organ to contact and/or penetrate the mouth of [M.L.]."
