A grand jury indicted Appellant Demarkcus L. Clark on February 2, 2007. The indictment alleged that on or about July 25, 2004, Appellant intentionally caused the death of Keiss Allison by shooting him with a firearm during the course of committing or attempting to commit robbery.1 Appellant pleaded not guilty at his trial in August 2008.
