OPINION
COCHRAN, J., delivered the opinion of the Court in which KELLER, P.J., and MEYERS, JOHNSON, and KEASLER, JJ., joined.
In this case we hold that a defendant must show some causal connection or logical relationship between a witness's probationary status and his potential bias to testify favorably toward the State before the witness may be cross-examined with that status.
