Hector Canales Rodriguez d/b/a Cowboy Transport appeals the portion of a judgment awarding exemplary damages to appellee, Jose Villarreal. In two issues, Rodriguez contends the trial court erred by failing to apply the statutory exemplary-damages cap when rendering judgment on the jury's verdict.
