In this workers' compensation case, Juan Narvaez claimed he suffered a back injury in the course of his employment. A hearing officer ruled in favor of Narvaez, and an appeals panel of the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission (TWCC)1 affirmed the hearing officer's decision.
