Appellants, Shell Oil Company ("Shell Oil") and Shell Western E & P ("Shell Western") (collectively "Shell"), challenge the trial court's judgment, entered after a jury trial, in favor of appellee, Ralph Ross, in Ross's suit against Shell for breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and fraud concerning the underpayment of oil and gas royalties to Ross's grandmother, Gertrude T.
