OPINION

Opinion by Justice CARTER.

A Gregg County jury found Christopher Lynn Howard guilty of aggravated robbery. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. § 29.03 (Vernon 2003). The jury assessed an enhanced punishment of life in prison.
