A jury convicted appellant, Timothy Lee Riley, of theft of property with a value of $20,000 or more but less than $100,000. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. § 31.03(a), (b), (e)(5) (Vernon Supp. 2008), § 31.09 (Vernon 2003). The trial court assessed punishment at six years imprisonment, suspended, and placed appellant on community supervision.
