Appellant, Cameron County, Texas (the "County"), brings this accelerated interlocutory appeal following the trial court's denial of its plea to the jurisdiction. By one issue, the County asserts that the trial court erred in denying its plea to the jurisdiction because it is immune from suits based on the doctrine of sovereign immunity.
