Appellant, Aida Dominguez Perez, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, of more than four grams but less than 200 grams. A jury found her guilty as charged and assessed her punishment at confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for a period of 10 years.
