I. Introduction

Is a Florida law firm that referred a Florida resident's case to a Texas lawyer for filing in New York subject to personal jurisdiction in Texas? Because we hold that the Florida firm did not have sufficient minimum contacts with Texas to support the exercise of specific jurisdiction over it by a Texas court, we answer the question "no." We reverse the trial court's order denying the Florida law firm...
