Relator, Dale Corder, requests habeas corpus relief from the trial court's August 19, 2008 order holding him in contempt and committing him to confinement in the Harris County Jail for 180 days as punishment and, thereafter, as a civil coercive measure, from day to day until he pays child support arrearage.
