In this original proceeding, Relator Efrain Rivera, M.D. ("Dr. Rivera") seeks a writ of mandamus from the trial court's order denying his motion to dismiss pursuant to TEX.CIV.PRAC. & REM.CODE ANN. § 74.351(b) and from the trial court's order granting Real Party in Interest Anita Loweree ("Ms. Loweree") a 30-day extension under TEX.CIV.PRAC. & REM.CODE ANN. § 74.351(c).
