Opinion by Justice FITZGERALD.

A jury found appellee Anthony Stephen Choice guilty of two aggravated robberies; his punishment was assessed at fifteen years' confinement. The trial court subsequently granted Choice's motion for new trial on the ground he received ineffective assistance of counsel. The State of Texas appeals. For the reasons discussed below, we vacate the trial court's order granting the new trial, and we reinstate the trial court...
