A jury convicted appellant, Michael John Reyes, of attempted improper photography, a misdemeanor offense. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. §§ 15.01, 21.15 (Vernon 2003). The trial court assessed a $4,000 fine and one year confinement in the Hays County Jail, which was suspended and probated for two years.
