This is a workers' compensation case. Appellee, James Marks, suffered an on-the-job knee injury while in the course and scope of his employment with appellant, Abilene Independent School District. AISD did not dispute that Marks tore the medial meniscus in his left knee and that, therefore, the torn meniscus was a compensable injury. However, AISD disputed that the on-the-job injury caused chondromalacia in Marks's left patella...
