David G. Cannon appeals from an order of the circuit court awarding attorneys' fees and costs to opposing counsel in this contempt action. Cannon contends the circuit court erred (1) in failing to find the issue of attorneys' fees was moot because he had served his jail sentence for contempt, and (2) in ordering him to pay attorneys' fees and expenses incurred in matters unrelated to the contemptuous conduct for which he was sanctioned.
