In this capital case, a jury convicted Jeffrey Louis Jones (Jones) of two counts of murder, and one count each of first-degree burglary, armed robbery, and criminal conspiracy. After the jury recommended the death penalty, the trial judge sentenced Jones to death for each murder, thirty years each on first-degree burglary and armed robbery, and a consecutive five years for criminal conspiracy.
