The defendant, Christian Buchanan (defendant or Buchanan), is before this Court on appeal from a judgment of conviction on one count of first-degree child molestation in violation of G.L. 1956 § 11-37-8.1, and three counts of second-degree child molestation in violation of § 11-37-8.3.
