The defendant, Kimberly St. Michel, appeals from a Superior Court judgment of conviction for embezzlement of funds in excess of $100. At the time of the offense, the defendant was employed as a bookkeeper for Mount Pleasant Hardware, a business at which she had worked for nearly a decade.
