The defendants, Norman Cipriano, Jr., and Jamie Bryant, appeal from Superior Court judgments of conviction for receiving stolen goods with a value in excess of $500 and for conspiring to commit larceny. On appeal, the defendants argue that (1) the trial justice erred in denying their motions for acquittal; and (2) the trial justice erred in his jury instructions concerning inferences and reasonable doubt.
